Opening Styles

There are over 100 opening styles, including: inward opening, outward opening, stacking to the left, stacking to the right and stacking both ways. Opening configurations ranging from two panels one way to ten panels both ways. You can also choose between inline and corner door options.

Flexible Opening Styles

Choose from various opening styles to create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces:

Inward Opening – Doors fold inward, ideal for spaces where exterior clearance is limited.

Outward Opening – Doors fold outward, maximizing interior space.

Stacking to the Left – All panels slide and stack to the left side.

Stacking to the Right – All panels slide and stack to the right side.

Stacking Both Ways – Panels divide evenly, stacking on both the left and right for a balanced look and operation.

Customizable Panel Configurations

Our bi-fold doors can be configured to fit various opening sizes, ranging from compact two-panel designs to expansive seven-panel systems that open in both directions. Here are some examples of our numbering system for panel configurations:

330 = 3 Panels – All sliding left, none to the right.

532 = 5 Panels – 3 sliding left, 2 sliding right.

743 = 7 Panels – 4 sliding left, 3 sliding right.

Bottom Track Options

All Rhinotrusion bifold doors can be; Top Hung, Bottom Rolling or both, which can satisfy various installation / load bearing requirements. Rhinotrusion rollers are also fully adjustable.

Top Hung: The bifold rollers are positioned in the top track. The bottom has non load bearing guides.

Bottom Rolling: The bifold rollers are positioned in the bottom track. The top has non load bearing guides.

Top & Bottom Rolling in this case the bifold rollers are positioned in both the top and bottom tracks to share the load, which results in a easy to use, smooth balanced operation.

Track Styles

Thresholds are available; flush, raised, with or without a weather stop.

FLUSH TRACK

This options gives you a flush floor level from the inside of the property to the outside of the property.

  • No trip hazard • Water resistant
  • Strong, a car can run over it to gain access to a garage or showroom
  • Ideal for internal use with no trip hazard

RAISED TRACK

This option does not give you a flush floor level from the inside of the property to the outside of the property. The track itself is the same as the flush option, but sits on the surface of the floor rather than sunk to meet the floor level upon installation.
